Usability Check-Points You Should Be Aware Of
You don’t use pop-ups. Pop-ups interrupt the browsing session of the visitors and require an instant feedback. Respect your visitors. You don’t change users’ window size. The same argument as the one against pop-ups holds. Some browsers, e.g. Internet Explorer, saves the browser dimensions and uses them for further browser sessions. You don’t use too small font sizes. Long passages are...

Once again, the best place to go for discussion of current events isn’t the mainstream media. Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman allows Naomi Klein to ask former Federal Reserve Chairman about his statement that the occupation in Iraq is all about the oil and those missing billions from Iraq.

10 Facts You Never Knew from "Sicko" →
While most movie-goers see faults within the film, the truth is that Moore simply reflects reality. Nothing in his film is new, exciting, or even shocking if the viewer has read local, regional, or international newspapers or if the viewer has kept up with problems incurred within the health insurance and medical industry over the past few years. Ahmadinejad: "Iran will not attack any country" →
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday that Iran would not launch an attack on Israel or any other country, and he does not believe the U.S. is preparing for war against Iran. “Iran will not attack any country,” Ahmadinejad told The Associated Press. Iran has always maintained a defensive policy, not an offensive one.

“Iraqi investigators have a videotape that shows Blackwater USA guards opened fire against civilians without provocation in an incident last week in which 11 people died.” These Blackwater hired thugs should be banned from the US as well. They act the same way against US citizens, remember Katrina.

This story is about the quest to prove this 350 year old mathematical riddle. Fermat’s Last Theorem, a mathematical cousin to the Pythagorean Theorem, was finally solved by Andrew Wiles in 1993 with newly discovered math. I have a truly marvelous proof of this proposition, but this digg description box is too small to contain. Can you prove it?

Operation Orchard can be seen as a raid using the same heavily modified long-range aircraft, procured specifically from the US with Iran’s nuclear sites in mind. The message being delivered from Tel Aviv is clear: if Syria’s ally, Iran, comes close to acquiring a nuclear weapon, and the world fails to prevent it, then Israel will stop it on its own

Yep. Iran’s interference in Iraq has never been greater. The export of goods to Iraq is soaring. Many new reconstruction projects are financed by Iran. Tehran has signed a $150M contract to build a 300MW power plant in Baghdad and plans to build two pipelines between Basra and Abadan. All this with the approval of the Iraqi government. Outrageous!
